FIG New Schedules

overview

The postponement of the Olympic Games to July 2021 gives the FIG a wider window to reorganize the Gymnastics event calendar, especially regarding the remaining qualifying events for Tokyo 2020 that had been deferred or cancelled due to the global health crisis.

Overview

Reorganizing this year’s calendar takes time. In these exceptional circumstances, the FIG believes that it is paramount to act with caution and be sure that athletes can have fair access to the events that they wish to take part in and the preparation time necessary to be able to compete at a high level.
